URINARY STONES An eight-year-old gray-white Pekingese was brought
tothe surgery. The owner
noticed that the dog often stoodin
a urinating position, straining, with only a few bloodydrops
of urine coming out. The dog became sad and stoppedeating.
Palpation of abdomen discovered a very strained and painful
abdomen wall and a very enlarged urinary bladder.

24-25 March 2000, Slovenian Association of Veterinarians (SVMZ) organised
the 13th Symposium on current diseases among small animals. The
